Starts out surprisingly lovely, then turns Haneke-grueling. But always deeply felt & beautifully acted, if singleminded. Hollywood Elsewhere @wellshwood Michael Haneke's "Amour" is a very finely made, corrosively honest but delicately realized Chinese water- torture movie about slowly dying. David Fear @davidlfear Merci, #cannes, for showing Love when I hadn't seen my wife for 4 days, as opposed to when I hadn't seen her for 10. Beautiful, devastating. Michal Oleszczyk @michaloleszczyk LOVE 10/10 Fearless (but not merciless) inquiry into dying as a shared ordeal. Haneke's best; poignant omissions aplenty. #Cannes Sasha Stone @awardsdaily RT @drewathitfix: Sad and beautiful, "Love" may be Haneke at his most human. #Cannes //was shocked by that. Expected to be assaulted. ioncinema @ioncinema Cannes 2012: Michael Haneke's LOVE: Often considered cruel is anything but that here. Simply told, heavy film about dignity, compassion, & ultimately being put in the worst of positions: the one who receives the final goodbye wave. Came damn close of taking the wind out of me... [oi, gente, voltei!]

Lindo trailer.
